Tia's POV: "What about this one?" Sonia asked holding out a long pink dress. I smiled nodding as she held it up to her body. My eyes spotted a purple dress. I walked over taking it off the rack. I let my fingers touch its soft fabric. I looked at the price tag. $5433.00 I snickered as Sonia loud voice said, "THAT'S CUTE GURL!" She got hushed right away. Sonia's face turned sour before she mumbled something turning back to the racks. I set the dress back up. I can't go anyway. I don't have a date. How am I supposed to go? My phone suddenly vibrated in my pocket. I dug into the pocket of my tight skinny jeans. I managed to pry the phone from my pockets. I didn't glance at the caller ID walking towards Sonia who looked like she was about to buy a different dress. It was Blue, silk with some sparkles. It was really cute. "Hello?" A familiar voice called. I smiled to myself. "Hey Justin," I greeted a slight giggle in my voice, "What's up?" I found myself wondering aimlessly aroun! d the store. "Aa-are you going to the Valentines Ball with someone?" He sounded nervous. I felt a frog in my throat as I stood there in the middle of the store, some women walking around me as I blocked their way. "No," I answered simply biting my lip. Silence fell over the line.
