A collection of my favorite metal songs in no particular order. Note that most of them are from albums that I've heard so I might miss some great ones from albums I didn't buy. Sonata Arctica - Winterheart's Guild - Victoria's Secret 2003 Spinefarm Records

Unthinkable Chapter 13

Unthinkable Chapter 13
Dwayne's POV -------------------- 2 Weeks Later -------------------- After 4 hours of weight training I was ready to head back home. Coach finally dismissed us from workouts. We all got up and collected our things. I grabbed my bottle of water and chugged the rest of it down. I patted down my forehead and grabbed my gym bag. I was about to leave when someone patted my back. I turned around to see Shaq, Trey and Justin standing there. Luckily Justin was playing for the Falcons and I've known him since high school so I really didn't have to worry about being an outcast when I got here. "Aye rook, were going out to the club tonight you in or what?" Shaq said. I haven't been out since I've gotten to Atlanta and I'm pretty bored. I guess one night out wouldn't hurt. "Uh.. Yeah sure." "Cool" Trey said. "We'll pick you up around 10." I checked the time on my phone. It was only 5, still pretty early. "Alright I'll see y'all later." I dapped them up and left. After I got home I reall! y had nothing to do. I went into the living room and sat down. I looked around me and sighed. I hate being so alone. I decided to call my baby since I miss her so much. Mazzy Star - Mona - Live, 1997, The Mint, LA, (unreleased cover)
Recorded March 23, 1997, at LA club The Mint. "Mona" (aka "I Need You Baby") is a cover of an old Bo Diddley song, one that also appears on The Rolling Stones' first album (UK version), 1964, which may be where Hope first heard the song. Hope's cited The Rolling Stones as a big influence on her as a teen music fan/musician, as well as later on. Especially early Stones song "Going Home". She even named her early duo with Sylvia Gomez "Going Home" after the song's title. Hope's covered the Stones' song "Play With Fire" live. It was a regular feature of her 2002 tour with her Warm Inventions band. Since the lyrics are hard to decipher in this recording, they're posted below. MONA (I NEED YOU BABY) [by Bo Diddley] Mona, I need you Mona, ooh-oo, Mona Yeah! Yeah-yeah-yeah! Mona Ooh-oo, Mona Tell ya Mona, what I wanna do Get my house next door to you Can I see you sometime?
