Tommy D. with the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra.

Tommy D. with the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra.

Each year, the nonprofit organization Jazz Arts Project produces a musical tribute to one of New Jersey's favorite sons, the great Frank Sinatra. After an extensive screening process, some of the area's finest working "Saloon Singers, Crooners and Chanteuse" are selected to perform live on stage backed by the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra under the direction of musical director Joe Muccioli. This ever popular show is always a virtual sell-out at the 1500 seat historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ. The evening features some of Mr. Sinatra's original arrangements, as well as some new spins on old classics performed in a thrilling and authentic manner. Critics have agreed that the show is one of the best offerings of the season at the Theatre. Visit www.jazzartsproject.org for more information about the organization. The Red Bank Jazz Orchestra's premier CD "Strike Up The Band" is available from CD Baby -- ‪www.cdbaby.com
